2 weeks left!

2 weeks left of school. Where has the time gone. Im pretty sure this has been the fastest semester of my entire life. Ive met a lot of great people this semester and gone on so many adventures. Im actually pretty sad that i only have a year left of school. can't wait to see what life has in store for me after college!

Thanksgiving MOKS!

happy thanksgiving!!! Today i spent the day paddling out to the Mokulua islands with a few of my friends on the soccer team. We rented two paddle boards and took out three of my surfboards. Half way out to the islands 3 of my friends realized that they couldn't keep up with us. I ended up being a towing service for the day. Once we got on the the island we walked around to the back side and did some cliff jumping and relaxed for the sand on a bit. We finally made our way back to the main land a few hours and had a massive thanksgiving feast! It was a pretty solid day for sure!

Aussie mindset

Australia plans are slowly coming together! Just got my visa yesterday and started my itinerary. Some of the things that are for sure happening is snorkeling the great Barrier reef. Exploring glow worm caves. Playing with kangaroos. Kayaking to Fraser island and much much more. I'm really hoping to return with an Australian accent as well!!

IM GOING TO AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!! Ive been wanting to visit my entire life. One of my good mates out here will be flying up to celebrate new years out there and return the same day school is to start up in the spring. I couldn't be more excited! I haven't quite figured out where in Aus i will be traveling to quite yet but i hope to see as much as possible! Im also rather worried about being eaten by snakes, great whites, crocodiles, spiders, leeches, ticks, and jellyfish. This is going to be an experience of a lifetime for sure.

got to spend the long weekend swimming with dolphins and turtles out on the west side. Its definitely hard switching back to school mode after the long weekend. Just three more weeks of school till winter break! Couldn't be more excited!

Cali kickin

our HPU women's team is currently here in Fresno California and we have been here for about a week already. We have won all of our games since we have been up here and hope to keep up the winning streak for our final game tonight. Dead Mans Catwalk

Kamehameha ridge, also known by locals as "dead mans cat walk" is a paved hike that ascends quickly to the top of ko'olau mountains. Its a rather easy hike with a round trip distance of about 3 miles. This hike is known for its breathtaking scenic views of the ocean and its many cliffs. If you are fortunate you will also see the wild baby goats that live up on the mountain top. Due to the excess vandalization of the property, this hike is now considered closed and illegal so proceed at your own risk.
